I grew up in the same kind of circle, the nerd, the bookworm. Most of my friends are in the professional field, healthcare, finance, engineer. Im not exposed to the world outside of my own. But when i started being active in social media, a lot of doors opened.
I get to know new people, those yang luar memang totally different from my circle of friend. Budak-budak art, orang-orang dalam creative industries. It really opens my mind.
I pernah baca org komen “dear influencer, get a real job”. They really don’t know that influencer is a job. The one that is exhausting and pays well if you know how to bring yourself to it. Its not easy being someone yang selalu diperhatikan. Ada benda tak kena mesti kena kecam. But that’s the point of being an influencer. You need to influence people to do good thing and be good.
